Bacterial Control & Corrosion Monitoring Made Simple

Bon Aqua International is always looking for ways to introduce our clients to more effective ways to handle the care and function of the equipment they have invested in to run their facilities, so when we come across a solution that will play a significant role in their overall water treatment program and do it in a safe and cost effective way, it's a win-win.

Biological fouling and bacterial control is an extremely important component of a water treatment program. Ionizers have been used for decades in public fountains, swimming pools, spas---virtually anywhere biocidal and bacterial control is important.B

Often the most expensive part of a chemical treatment program for cooling systems is private-label biocides. With an ionizer, only the anode has to be replaced, typically after 1-2 years; and the replacement cost is nominal compared to any other biocidal control method.

Measuring the rate and extent of corrosion inside equipment and piping is another important component in a water treatment program.  The standard method has typically been coupon tests, which have significant limitations to their accuracy.   Bon Aqua has found a product that is specifically designed to monitor corrosion activity and wall loss under real world conditions.

The product was invented by a world-renowned metallurgist and is manufactured and distributed worldwide by his company, CorrView International.
